Virtual Fall 5K/10K/Half Marathon


By joining The Michael J. Fox Foundation's 2021 Virtual Fall 5K/10K/Half Marathon,
you are helping close the gap on a cure for Parkinson's disease. 

Runners and walkers of all levels, abilities and speeds are welcome!

Ready to get started?

Registration will officially close on Friday, October 1 at 11:59pm (EST.)
All participants must register before September 17* to receive a participant packet in time for event weekend. (Those who register after September 17 may receive packet after the event.)

*International participants must be registered by September 3 to receive packet in time for event. 

Registration for each Adult participant is $40 USD
Although fundraising is not required, we encourage all participants to raise additional funds. Your contributions go a long way: 100 percent of the proceeds go straight to high-impact research programs to speed a cure for Parkinson's.
You signed up because you support our mission to cure Parkinson's disease. Now, we need your help to raise additional funds for research. Check out our Fundraising Tips pagto get started and earn your swag:

Individuals who raise $100 USD or more will receive
a limited edition "20 Years of Progress" event T-Shirt.* 

Individuals who raise $500 USD or more will receive
MJFF branded blanket!

The top five team and individual fundraisers will be recognized on our website and awarded special prizes after the event date. 

*Our limited edition event t-shirt will be shipped on a rolling basis as participants hit the $100 fundraising benchmark.
Please note, you must hit this benchmark by September 17 (September 3 for international participants) to guarantee
your shirts arrival by event weekend.

Participant Packets
Once you register you will receive a welcome packet in the mail. Welcome packets include your bib number and a note from your Race Directors/Sponsors. Shipments will begin in September.

Remember, participants who register after September 17  (September 3 International) may not receive their package in time for the event weekend.

Virtual Badges
Participants can earn digital badges along their fundraising journey by achieving a major milestone. Badges are awarded when you reach your fundraising goal, make a self-donation, become a team captain, and more (see the table below for a complete list of badge qualifications.) Digital badges will appear on your fundraising page so others can see your accomplishments!

Note: Fundraising totals must be reflected on your individual fundraising page to qualify. 

Race-Day Preparations
Create your own schedule and set a time to run/walk over the event weekend.

You can run/walk outdoors or indoors, alone or with a group of friends/family. As always, remember to be smart, use your judgement and practice social distancing.

Be Social: Share Your Progress and Tag MJFF
Throughout your training and after you complete your event distance, be sure to take a photo of yourself in your MJFF swag and post it on social media tagging @michaeljfoxorg on Instagram and Twitter and @michaeljfoxfoundation on Facebook.
