Alyson Hendler

My beautiful mother, Joanne Golditch, was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2005. In the last 4 years her Parkinson's has gotten progressively worse, and if you know her, you know she does not deserve this. I am also running in honor of my grandfather-in-law (Howie’s paternal grandfather) Norman Hendler, my grandmother-in-law (Howie’s maternal grandmother) Sarah Kane, and (Howie’s great uncle) Martin Schecter.

I'll get straight to the point...I HATE Parkinson's Disease and I hate the impact it has made on millions of lives.

Please join me in reaching my personal goal of $20,000. Help me move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line by making a donation today or join the walkers/runners on March 10th at Griffith Park.

An estimated five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) — a chronic neurodegenerative disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease. As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is working to change this.

MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

Your gift will make a real difference: 100% of Fox Trot for Parkinson's Research proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.

Thank you for your support! Feel free to forward and pass this along to anyone who may be interested.
