Hello again and, welcome back to my fundraising page.
This year, I'm participating in the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk for Parkinson's Research to ensure a cure is found in this lifetime.
As many of you know, my elder brother was diagnosed with early onset in his 30's and since then, hasn't wanted any fuss or attention put on him. So, what else is a younger sibling to continue to do but the complete opposite of that.
Given the current state of the world, am going to do a masked run in San Francisco and encourage others to do the same, wherever they may be (let me know and we can run the race 'together').
If monetary donations aren't feasible right now, I ask for 20 minutes of your time to read more about early onset and, how you can raise your voice in the political spectrum to continue to fight for change.
A bit more about the MJFF:
More than 6 million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) — a chronic neurodegenerative disorder. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease. As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is working to change this.
MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
Your gift will make a real difference: 100 percent of Fox Trot for Parkinson's Research proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.
Help me move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line by making a donation today.
Thank you for your support!
