Linda Schulz

Thank you for visiting my page! This year, our family is participating in the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk for Parkinson's Research.

My dad (Opa) had Parkinson's Disease. It stripped him of his dignity, his independence, his love of life and laughter, and his voice. We watched him slowly deteriorate, just like we did when his uncle (Onkel Tony) had it, as well as my Godmother (Sylvia, who was like a grandmother to me). One of my aunts in Germany has it as well, so Parkinson's has deeply touched our lives for many years.

An estimated five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) — a chronic neurodegenerative disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease. As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is working to change this.

MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

Your gift will make a real difference: 100 percent of Fox Trot for Parkinson's Research proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.

Help me move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line by making a donation today.

Thank you for your support! - Linda

I’m not sure if I ever met Opa, but I know he was a wonderful man inside and out because he helped raise my amazing Auntie Linda! Parkinson’s is an awful disease that also affected my Avó (my mom’s mother). I hope my small monetary donation is joined by many others to help us find a cure. Thank you so much Auntie Linda and the Schulz fam for donating your time and energy to this great cause.
