Team Marasco (best two person team ever, Carly and Cris) is running in the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk for Parkinson's Research. On October 14, we're lacing up to support my Dad and raise money for research.

You're welcome to join my team for the 5k run or donate to support our fundraising effort.

Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease — a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. My Dad is one of those people. There is no known cure and through your support of Team Fox/Marasco, we can help change this.

My Dad has been living with Parkinson's for a long while. He's a trooper. I love him and my Mom for their tenacity in dealing with all the things that add up to what living with Parkinson's means. I'm also fundraising for my close friend Suria's Dad, Hassan who is living with Parkinson's and to honor my friend Jerry Lynch. Jerry was an awesome friend, an owner and my boss at Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. and passed several years ago.

Your gift will make a real difference: 100 percent of Fox Trot for Parkinson's Research proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.

MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.

Help me move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line by making a donation today.

Thank you for your support!
