Thank you for visiting my page! This year, I am participating in the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk for Parkinson's Research.
More than 6 million people worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) — a chronic neurodegenerative disorder. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease. As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is working to change this.
This cause is important to me because I recently lost the man I admire the most, my grandpa, to Parkinson’s disease. My grandpa, Ralph Alvarez fought this disease for many years, doing his best to stay the strong and selfless man he was before his diagnosis. My grandpa fought hard and lived a long life, and I would have given everything to have had just a little more time with him. That is why I am running the Fox Trot 5K and hoping to raise $710 to honor the day of his passing.
Help me move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line by making a donation today.
