Thank you for visiting my Austin Fox Trot page!
***The Michael J. Fox Foundation has been monitoring the evolving situation surrounding coronavirus COVID-19. Like organizations worldwide, we have postponed all public events through the end of May, including the Austin Fox Trot.
While we hate to disappoint our community, averting large gatherings is not only our civic responsibility to help curtail the spread of the coronavirus, but is especially important due to the potential increased risk to our audience. Please visit our website for the most current information.
Our team is working to reschedule the Austin Fox Trot for a date to be determined later this year, either at Austin Beerworks or another Austin venue based on availability. Please look out for future communications as we know more.***
This year, I am participating in the Michael J. Fox Foundation's (MJFF) Austin Fox Trot 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for Parkinson's Research (whenever it will be held, and we can continue raising money and awareness until then!).
More than 6 million people worldwide, including my father, are living with Parkinson’s disease (PD) — a chronic neurodegenerative disorder. There is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease. As the world’s largest nonprofit funder of PD research, MJFF is working to change this.
MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
Your gift will make a real difference: 100 percent of Fox Trot for Parkinson's Research proceeds will go directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s high-impact research programs.
Help me move a cure for Parkinson's disease over the finish line by making a donation today.
Thank you so very much for your support! May God bless you generously for sharing your financial gifts so that other people won't have to experience Parkinson's Disease in the future.
